Chapter 3:

“Well let me show you around” clarity says with a smile. I could tell she had ADHD or something. She was telling me where the library and the cafeteria and the classrooms and other stuff. “Well I guess this is your homeroom, See ya later”. She says while walking away. I slowly opened the door only to see Adam sitting in one of the front seats. “Hello, my name is Mr. Trent, and I will be your homeroom teacher. Take a seat beside of Adam”. My heart starts to race. ‘I have to sit near Adam’ I thought. Anyway I sat down next to him and he gives me a look of confusion like he can tell my heart is out of rhythm. “Are you ok?” he says with a worried look. I knew he could tell what I felt. “Yea, just first day jitters”. He looks back at Mr. Trent and looks back at me like he wants to devour me. I could tell something was wrong. A few minutes later the bell rang and I quickly grabbed my things and headed to my locker. I opened it and a note fell from the door of it. “Will you call me after school? It’s important. 423-574-6758- Adam”. Is what it read. ‘DID A HOT GUY JUST GIVE ME HIS NUMBER?’ I thought. The rest of the day I could only think about Adam. He was the only thing on my mind and how I should call him after school. ‘It’s important’ kept going off in my head. The bell rang of the last class and I headed to my locker to put my stuff away and headed for the doors. I saw my mom’s car and headed for it. I opened the doors and mom said “hello sweetie how was your day”? “It was ok I guess”. I said. She nodded and started the car. The ride was silent all the way home. I walked to my room and grabbed my phone. I got the piece of paper that had his number. I was also debating on whether I should call him, but I couldn’t turn down a hot guy.
